Congratulations to five of our Geography students on receiving the Merit Award in the Hong Kong Inter-School Weather Observation Inquiry Competition 2026 – “Microclimate and Citizens’ Lives”, co-organized by the Ho Koon Nature Education cum Astronomical Centre (Sponsored by Sik Sik Yuen) and the Hong Kong Observatory.
Standing out among numerous competing teams, our students were selected as one of the top 10 finalist teams and invited to present their project to a panel of judges. Their research project, “Microclimate Differences Between Shatin and Ma On Shan Sports Grounds: Impacts on the Preference of Joggers in the Shatin District,” demonstrated their strong scientific inquiry skills, data analysis capabilities, and effective teamwork.
