Design and Technology Society
Objectives
- To empower and nourish students to use innovative and technological skills to solve problems
- To enrich students' knowledge and skills in engineering and manipulating new technologies
- To build team spirit and foster collaboration between students
- To encourage students to participate in various design and robotic competitions
Contents
Meetings will be held in alternative weeks. The content includes :
- Robotics
- Computer programming
- Computer aided design and Computer control (CAD/CAM)
- Laser Cutting Technology
- 3D Printing and Scanning
- Hand craft
Students will be encouraged to participate in various design and robotic competitions in the second term.
Features
- We provide students with the experiences to taste new technologies and equipment that are not yet included in the subject syllabus.
- Activities are initiated, planned and led by students themselves.
- Alumni serve as advisors and mentors for students in various activities and competitions.
