Suspension of Face-to-face Classes and Examination Arrangements
In light of the worsening situation of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Government has announced that all primary and secondary schools will suspend all face-to-face classes and school activities starting from this Wednesday (December 2) until the beginning of school Christmas holidays. According to the school notice released on November 27, the first term school examination for Form 1 to Form 5 students will be postponed. Since Form 6 students will have to face public examinations soon, The Education Bureau is considering allowing Form 6 students to attend on-campus lessons to prepare for the public examinations and take internal examinations. The EDB is also discussing the possibility of allowing schools to arrange examinations for different forms during the suspension period. Further announcements will be made to parents as soon as the Government releases more detailed information tomorrow (November 30).
